Which WestSoy soymilks provide the minimum recommended amount of soy protein per serving? The FDA recommends 25 grams of soy protein daily to get the benefits of reducing the risk heart disease. To carry the "Soy Protein" Heart Symbol, a product must contain a minimum of 6.25 grams per serving.
How do I get my child to drink soymilk? Kids love our Plain and Vanilla Soymilks. They enjoy the flavor and the sweetness without realizing that they are drinking something that is actually good for them.
Are WestSoy soymilks kosher? All of the WestSoy soymilks and beverages are kosher.
Are WestSoy soymilks organic? All of WestSoy soymilks are made with organic soymilk and certified organic by the Quality Assurance International.
What is aseptic packaging? Aseptic packaging allows you to buy a larger supply of soymilk and store it on the shelf until you’re ready to use it. WestSoy aseptic soymilk products can be stored up to a year in a pantry or cabinet without refrigeration until ready to use. So buy in bulk, and be sure that you won’t run out. The soymilk is processed using a UHT (ultra high temperature/ short time) pasteurization process. Then it is packaged in a container that has a foil layer in the middle of the layers of packaging that prevents any air or moisture penetration.
What is the suggested temperature for storing soymilk in the aseptic packaging before it is opened? Normal ambient conditions are preferred, although moderate warmth and coldness can be tolerated.
How do I recycle aseptic packaging? Since the first drink box recycling pilot in 1990, the aseptic packaging industry has seen recycling programs spread across the country. Commonly called "drink boxes," aseptic packages are collected in the curbside and drop-off programs along with other polyethylene-coated beverage cartons.

Can you freeze soymilk? If soymilk freezes in the package, it can compromise the package as it expands. So, if you took it out of the freezer, it might spoil. There is nothing wrong with freezing soymilk as far as the product itself.

How long after Westsoy products are opened are they good for? We suggest that once the product is opened it is to be refrigerated and consumed within 7-10 days.
