WestSoy - the Organic Difference!
Many WestSoy soymilks are USDA certified organic. This means they are produced without the use of potentially harmful synthetic pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers and they do not contain genetically engineered ingredients (GEIs). As of October 21, 2002, all organic foods must be certified by an agency accredited by the US Dept of Agriculture verifying such products meet strict federal organic standards. USDA certified organic means at least 95% of a product’s ingredients are organic. Only those products that are certified can display the USDA seal. WestSoy USDA certified products are made with organic soybeans. They are certified by an agency accredited by the USDA verifying that we meet strict federal organic standards. |
